Kongde Ri, standing at 6,187 meters, is a notable peak near Namche Bazaar that offers some of the best panoramic views in the Khumbu region. Trekkers often embark on a day hike to its base or lower slopes, where they can see Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. The trail passes through rhododendron forests and Sherpa villages, providing a quieter alternative to busier routes. The summit itself is technical, but the surrounding viewpoints are accessible.
