Jubing

Neighborhood

Jubing is a quiet Sherpa settlement in the Khumbu region, typically encountered on the second day of the Everest Base Camp trek. The village offers a glimpse into traditional mountain life, with stone-walled homes, potato fields, and prayer-flag-adorned chortens. Trekkers often stop here for a rest or overnight stay, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and views of the surrounding hills. The trail from Lukla passes through pine forests and crosses suspension bridges before reaching Jubing, making it a rewarding stop before the climb to Namche Bazaar.
