El Lingote, nestled in the heart of Parque Fundidora, offers an unforgettable dining experience with an unbeatable view of the iconic Cerro de la Silla. The ambiance, surrounded by the park’s industrial charm and nature, sets the stage for a perfect meal. To access the restaurant, we arrived at the main entrance of Parque Fundidora, where golf carts are usually available to provide a convenient ride to the elevator bank leading up to the restaurant. This added a fun and unique start to our visit— don’t forget to tip your driver, they would appreciate it. Let’s talk about the Food - Their drink menu stands out, particularly the margarita of mixed berries—a refreshing, flavorful concoction that balances sweet and tangy notes flawlessly. For appetizers, we indulged in their panela cheese dish, which is elevated by the addition of Ramos pork rinds. Paired with a zesty green salsa and served with both homemade flour and corn tortillas, it’s a savory treat that reflects the region’s authentic flavors. For the entrée, we opted for the pear salad with Arrachera beef, which exceeded expectations. The combination of grilled pear, mixed greens, figs, candied pecans, crispy bacon, and Parmesan cheese created a delightful blend of textures and tastes, each bite feeling indulgent yet light. Overall, El Lingote offers not only exceptional dishes but also an amazing view, making it a top choice for both locals and visitors looking for a memorable dining experience in Monterrey.
Awesome place to have dinner in Parque fundidora, the view is something different and the food is really good
The food of the children’s was horrible because the chicken nuggets are so hard and my rice was hard as well. The white wine was warm and the beef has non flavor.
El Lingote is so fantastic that we dined there three times while visiting Monterrey. We were so pleased with the food and service that we just kept going back for more. Their soup of the day- sopa de las verduras- is the best soup we have ever had. Sometimes it was served as a comped appetizer in the cutest little cup ever. But, it’s so good we had to each get a bowl. Make sure to ask for it! We also enjoyed wonderful salads and entrées. Our favorite meal was sopa de las verduras y ensalada de pera (con arrachera o con pollo) for lunch. We also tried three of their desserts. Each was superb. The servers were always kind and prompt with our requests. On a clear day, the view of the mountains is a beautiful sight.
