When the food is good, it is great but the problem is that the restaurant is very inconsistent. Inconsistency comes in the forms of portion size, quality of ingredients (especially chicharrón), flavour, and service. Unfortunately, the inconsistency has gotten worse with each visit over the last year or two. When they are on point, the norteña is pretty good but I've grown tired of hoping for the best.
Food is edible but really bland. It lacks flavor. The chicharrón is really the best tasting item on the menu. The staff and service however is horrible. We came at 12:30 when they open, they told us come back at 1, we did. They told us come back at 1:30. We came back around 2 and finally they were open. They didn’t greet us, super rude and we wouldn’t waste time coming back here again.
My first tacos in Mexico City, I highly recommend the pastor tacos that come with potatoes. The line is a little long but it's worth it.
Fine tacos (average for Mexico city). Poor service - waitresses more interested in chatting together than taking an order. Tbh I'd suggest you go somewhere more authentic or to a place like Cariñito Tacos round the corner for some exciting fusion-style tacos instead.
