If you're looking for more than just an ordinary dinner, this is the place. The way they play with flavors and the presentation of the dishes is truly amazing. I highly recommend trying the 13-course menu; it's absolutely worth it.
A culinary experience that I will never forget...Did the 13 course tasting menu with 6 complimentary cocktails... Cesar our waiter explained each dish in English which made for me a better experience...yes it's expensive but to me it was worth it... This restaurant deserves it's Michelin star... Will definitely return!
The food was creative and delicious. We also enjoyed the wines and the service. However, we were very disappointed with the atmosphere. We arrived at 3pm for our meal. The music was LOUD. Loud Motown, disco and funk music was too much for the time of day. This is a northern Mexican food restaurant which bills itself as “based on home traditional food”. The music had nothing to do with the concept. We asked for the music to be changed or turned down. Nothing was done even though we were the only guests at the restaurant ! Sorry it was difficult to ignore the music and to have a conversation at our table.
One of the best fine dining experiences. We called them in advance to tell them we're vegetarian and they catered a special 7+ course menu for us. The restaurant is run by 3 Brothers, who each played one of the key roles: the head chef, the maître d' and the pastry chef. They were extremely hospitable, great service, truly amazing food and drinks. The restaurant only uses local ingredients from around Mexico. We were there for our honeymoon so they surprised us with a dessert in the shape of wedding rings - great touch. A definite Must Do in Monterrey.
