Super romantic old mansion with extensive candle lighting and great wooden and adobe walls features. The menu was Mediterranean oriented and delicious. We had a Baja California whole white fish hat was among best fish I’ve ever had! Salads were excellent with lots of citrus and brine profiles. Staff super friendly and easily a favorite for the list of great experiences for the evening.
It’s rare that you go to a place an everything you taste is mindblowingly good. Everything from the appetizers to the cocktails and festers were just amazing here. But that’s just the start… the service, the atmosphere, and the location of this restaurant make it one of the absolute best spots in Mexico City. I’m a big fan of this city and have visited over 42 restaurants and cocktail bars in the city during a week long research trip. This place is by far one of the best the city has to offer. The decor and feel of this space is also fantastic. 1000% recommend to anyone visiting.
I came here with a bachelorette group of 12. We were seated in a private room upstairs near a large open window at the end of a cat walk draped in greenery. The whole restaurant is charming and beautiful. The small plates were a hit among the group, as were the cocktails. To our surprise, the red bell pepper cocktail was among the favorites!
The restaurant is inside an old master house with very tall ceiling and a beautiful inner courtyard. Great decorations and candles everywhere. Four of us went, service was excellent and 3 of us took the whole sea bass that came with citrus side salad and a potato salad with some mayo-like dressing. We also had some mocktails, one a kombucha watermelon and 2 others a mango based ones. The atmosphere was great in the courtyard and it was not loud so easy to have a conversation. The fish tasted very good and we had a great time. Unfortunately, in the middle of the night I developed severe diarrhea and had to go on antibiotics the next day. Two others in our group also experienced GI issues but not as severe. Was it the ice in the drinks, one of the salads or the fish, we'll never know! If it were not for this, I would have rated it a 5 star experience.
