Sagrantino is a beautiful restaurant in an amazing location in Guadalajara . The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. I definitely recommend Sagrantino if you’re looking for a luxurious and upscale restaurant. They have valet parking which they charge 35 pesos but you can also park your vehicle in the back of the restaurant for free. If you want to go somewhere nice, Sagrantino is one of the best.
The setting is nice, but the food is not great for the price. The seafoods were not totally fresh, the grilled foods were over-seasoned, presumably because the beef wasn't as fresh as it should be. Service was pretty slow. We tried tuna tartar and oysters as well as various cuts of beef. In a town with a lot of great restaurants, this is one of the few we would not return to.
Gorgeous modern restaurant with open high ceilings and clean lines. Italian slant on food but some Mexican dishes. Good wine and delicious cocktail selection Service was impeccable. Food was deliciously flavorful with stylish presentation. We loved our delicious choice of tuna tartare with mango,and snapper ajillo. Both were excellent. Our dinner ended perfectly with the sticky toffee dessert with ice cream and anejo ..
We had not been back in a long time. We sat at a terrace overlooking a nice park. The artichoke appetizer, baked burrata and fresh oysters were excellent. My husband loved the beef tongue entree, I had an excellent fish with mashed potatoes and ajillo sauce, our friends had tuna tataki and octopus. Do not miss the tiramisu, light and perfect ending to a wonderful meal.
