The food and service are top notch. Definitely made our stay at the Marriott even better.
Beautiful decor. Excellent presentation on the food. Great service. They add 16% gratuity to the bill and then the waiter asks if you want to leave a tip. Our Salmon in red curry sauce came out cold, even though there was only one other table in the restaurant. The Pad Thai was too sweet. I asked the waiter to ask the chef to make me a traditional Thai sauce of lime juice, chilis and fish sauce so I could balance the sweetness. He came back with Siracha and chili garlic sauce. Fundamental lack of knowledge of Thai food by the waiter and the kitchen. Strange for a Thai restaurant. If you are in the hotel and need a place to take a business meeting where you are not paying, this would be a great place.
Stepped in the bar on the upper floor to enjoy the sunset and a cocktail. The bartender Miguel was fantastic. Pleasant, professional, and he can mix a drink. We had a margarita and a non alcoholic mocktail. Really excellent! The room is quite nice, the infinity pool is neat, and the view is lovely.
A horrible experience. The service was ridiculously slow, waiters were no where to find, we were probably the only people in the restaurant at prime time on a Friday night. The food was not good and cold on arrival. And the bill was extraordinary. Stay away from this place. Marriott should be ashamed to be associated with this establishment. I suspect other glowing reviews are fake.
