If you’re a meat lover looking for a hearty meal at a reasonable price, I highly recommend this place. The portions are generous, the meat is delicious, the bread is superb, and the prices are very reasonable. However, when it comes to the restaurant’s ambiance, it’s quite specific. While I think it has its own charm, my partner didn’t particularly like it. Additionally, my partner was disappointed by the limited wine selection. Specifically, when it came to white wine, there was only one option available by the glass, while the other could only be purchased by the bottle. Since they were out of the first option, they couldn’t sell it by the glass and had to settle for the red instead. Overall, I recommend this place, but if you’re looking for an elegant dining experience for dinner, I would advise against it as the interior can be quite cold in chilly weather. Nevertheless, it’s definitely a spot for food enthusiasts seeking quality fare.

Initially, we were slightly hesitant about the location and appearance of the restaurant, but we soon discovered that we shouldn't judge a book by its cover. To our pleasant surprise, every dish we ordered was simply amazing. Without a doubt, it was some of the best food we tasted during our brief visit to Guadalajara.

Restaurant looked and was dirty. Table tops were not clean. Older rustic premises which adds atmosphere. Not much of a wine list for a steak type restaurant. Took our own $200, Mx. corkage. Service was not prompt and we were the only two customers at 5he time. Caprese salad was good and portion to share. Tried empanadas there was raw pastry and cold centres. Returned and did not have replaced. Owner/manager spoke with us and apologized. Offered to replace but we declined. Both ordered the Rib Eye steak , reason we chose this restaurant, med rare and medium both very under cooked. This is a standard in Mexico. Returned med-rare for more time. Both steaks were of average quality. The service could have been more attentive and a follow up visit after delivery the food would have been nice. Both occasions empanadas and steak had to go find the server.all in all not bad but not impressive. Others are better.

There are 2 restaurants with the same name. I thought we were going to the one in colonia americana. We arrived and the person that greeted us said sit any place in a nonchalant non welcoming way. The wait staff was very slow on everything and there were very few people there The steaks were fantastic. The best I have had in Mexico. The food overall was great. If they could improve their service I would give it 5 stars
