Tritons' Fountain stands at the City Gate, welcoming visitors to Valletta. Designed by sculptor Vincent Apap in 1959, it depicts three bronze tritons (mythological sea gods) holding a large basin aloft, with water cascading around them. The fountain is a popular meeting point and photo spot, especially when lit at night. Its central location makes it a natural starting point for exploring the capital. The surrounding piazza is often bustling with tourists and locals.
