Parliament House in Valletta is a bold contemporary structure that houses the Maltese Parliament. Designed by Renzo Piano and completed in 2015, the building features a unique facade of massive stone louvers that filter light and provide shade, referencing traditional Maltese balconies. The building sits on the site of the former Royal Opera House, integrating modern design with the historic cityscape. Visitors can admire its innovative architecture from the outside, and guided tours are occasionally available to explore the interior chambers and learn about Malta's legislative process.
