Casa Rocca Piccola is a beautifully preserved 16th-century palace in Valletta, still owned by the de Piro family. Visitors can tour the opulent state rooms, family chapel, and gardens, all filled with period furniture, art, and silver. A highlight is the network of World War II air-raid shelters carved into the rock beneath the palace, which provided refuge during bombings. The guided tour brings to life the history of Maltese nobility and the building's evolution over centuries.

Don't miss

  • Descend into the WWII air-raid shelters, a labyrinth of tunnels and rooms used during the war.
  • Admire the family's collection of antique furniture, paintings, and silver in the state rooms.
