The SMS V107 is a well-preserved shipwreck of a German torpedo boat sunk during World War I, resting on the seabed a short distance from Liepāja's coast. Divers can explore the largely intact hull, which lies in clear waters at a depth accessible to intermediate divers. The wreck is encrusted with marine life, and its deck fittings, gun mounts, and engine room remains are still recognizable. It offers a tangible link to naval history and is a highlight of the region's diving scene, with guided trips available from local dive operators.

Don't miss

  • Swim around the intact hull and observe the torpedo boat's original lines
  • Spot the remains of deck guns and engine room components
  • Photograph the marine life that has colonized the wreck, including sponges and fish
