Food is wholesome and excellent. Great spot if you want to insulate yourself from the local poverty and hang with just expats. The prices on the food and the surrounding stores reflect that it’s caters to the wealthier crowd. As with most of Kenya, the service is just nowt quite there.
I wish there was a Tin Café in the UK! The salad bar is amazing - lots of delicious, healthy but filling salads that you can help yourself to. I definitely recommend having the salad bar with anything you order. The quiche is probably the most delicious quiche I've ever had and great value. The beetroot and goats cheese toast is also really good, as are the fish tacos.
Had a great lunch here away from the hustle and bustle of Nairobi. Food and service were great and staff very friendly.After lunch had a look around the gift shops that are all around the cafe and found some great bits .
Excellent food, good ambience and outstanding service. Vincent, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely experience at the cafe. Highly recommend.
