Nice atmosphere, very cool design. But the food was really bad. There are very few food option on the menu. I ordered Tuna with rice. They brought it right out of the fridge, it wasn't even room temperature. Such a waste for such a nice garden not to have anything eatible on the menu.

The food quality has drastically reduced since the last time I ate here. The nachos with guacamole - used packet nacho chips. The laksa curry did not taste the same as before - it seemed the noodles used were packet instant noodles (in the past they were freshly made flat noodles which were delicious). Tofu too did not taste good. The mushroom & tofu dumplings were very nice and the saving grace of the meal. The desserts were disastrous. Previously the brownies were moist and soft - this time it was hard. In addition, the coffee icecream and peanuts did not work well with the dish. In addition, some of the past outstanding dishes such as the Zoodles & Coconut Chia Pudding are no longer on the menu. On a side note the seats were extremely uncomortable (lacking cushions), service a bit slow (which is ok if seats are comfortable) & parking was a nightmare with tree roots sticking out so it makes the car ride in the parking very bumpy - definitely needs some reinvestment from the owners!

On 29 August, my friend and I decided to look for this restaurant. It came highly recommended. I have been coming here for the past12 months and this day I was set to travel. Well I guess google maps was not letting us have our way. We drove around turning left, right, u turns on the highway but I was determined. Finally we got there. Its as if this restaurant was built for me. Its tucked in a quite neighbourhood in Karen, amongst the camouflage of trees. The restaurant is a forest within a house. The ambience it most heart-warming. For appetizers we ordered Duck Spring Rolls with lettuce, herbs and hoisin mayo. First of all, I don’t like any form of chicken (or cousins), this was a different family of duck. It was so good. Not fatty or oily, I don’t know what they had done to it. Second, I don’t like mayo, not sure what mayo they had but its not the mayo I usually take. We also ordered prawn, avocado and mango salad with all these herbs, greens, cucumber, peanuts and nuoc cham dressing. My friend I though, more greens (with a smack), well we regretted. It’s the best salad we have ever eaten. And that vinaigrette needs to be investigated. It was so so so and tasty. Well to the mains – I ordered crispy chicken tacos and my friend’s ancestors told her to look for chicken. She had Tempeh Chicken with some heavenly rice covered in peanut sauce. We just looked greedily. Finally I had a coffee latte, served at the right temperature so that you don’t leave the restaurant with a charred tongue. The staff are so amazing and polite and kind. They are not pretentious by the way. We asked all types of questions and they responded genuinely with smiles. They also check in all the time. I am definitely going back. Its an excellent place to meet up with friends.
