The restaurant is located in the heart of Nairobi, making it super accessible. The food was amazing—I ordered a platter for two, but it was so big it could easily feed four! The atmosphere was calm, even on a Saturday, so I can only imagine how peaceful it would be on a weekday. The service was great, and the wait time for the food was impressively short. Of course, the wait might vary depending on what and how much you order, but overall, I highly recommend giving Kilimanjaro a try. It’s a great spot for dining!
Had two meals here, the food was okay and good value of the price. However, it seems they are not really strict to the payment. It's my first time in Kenya, I don't know it's their culture, but they didn't give me the change. It was not that big money so I just walked out, but I was not happy for them keeping the change. Please pay with card unless you want to donate to them haha
The waiter was incredibly rude and unprofessional, which set a negative tone for the visit. To make matters worse, the food arrived cold, which completely ruined the meal. We also had to wait nearly 20 minutes just to get glasses for water, which is unacceptable. The poor service and lack of attention to basic needs make this place one I cannot recommend. There are far better options elsewhere.
I had the worst stomach upset after eating chicken curry from Kilimanjaro Kimathi street. As soon as I had finished I had to rush to hospital for food poisoning.
