The queue begins many minutes prior to raising the shutter. The aroma is crazy that it adds to the anticipation of those eagerly queueing. It was worth it! No seating area! Savour and enjoy it standing. Very good price too. When in the area join the queue before 1100.
The best takoyaki I ate in Japan! Don't burn your mouth, crack it open to cool it or wait. I warned you. Delicious after you dress it up, and you have to do that yourself. Just watch some other people do it or look at my photos. Prices are good and they crank them out pretty quickly.
We stopped here for the octopus dumplings. They are hand made in front of you. You add seasonings available on the tables next to the chef stand. Great to share and as a snack while you explore Ueno market. Awesome street food.
Well if it’s too good to be true it probably is so. Though cheap if you can’t taste and enjoy the food forget it. We had to try it. It had all the Ikura Uni and Salmon but the quality wasn’t there. You want Ceap you got cheap.
