Perfect place to indulge on Italian food served with Japanese produce. Ranks among one of the best Italian meals I have ever eaten. Also surprisingly light - was able to finish the entire tasting menu. Drink mark ups are steep to buy a La carte - you’re better off going with the wine pairing - or go to the bar at the top to buy a drink before moving on to the restaurant. Highly recommended overall - would likely return next time I’m in Tokyo. Need to book well in advance.

I had a good experience dining here. Service, with my waiter’Guru’ ( sorry for the spelling) was top notch. The hostess was on point and cordial as could be. But, I found the ambience almost cold and sterile. It is very modern. In fact you can pick up the restaurant and drop it in London or NYC and it would work. There is no Japanese element in the design. For my dinner I ordered the basic pasta with tomato sauce. My entree was basically veal Milanese. The pasta was mediocre - the pasta taste was flat and slightly sweet. The veal course was excellent. The restaurant is just not my style. Give me a twenty seat family owned Osteria in Tuscany. But if you are into chic, modern this is your place. You can wear your couture and fit right in. Note: they have a terrace which would be terrific in warmer months. Finally, my cold and sterile comment above comes from viewing the two male ‘floor managers’. These dudes were throwing off negative serious vibes - that was their body language. Guys, fake it and act like you are enjoying your gig.
