This restaurant is filled with tourists! We did not have a reservation but got in after about a 15 minute wait. The restaurant is lively (loud) and bustling. It took about 15 minutes for a waiter to approach our table - you have a time limit on the table so this was a bit annoying. From then on, you have to get the servers attention if you need anything. Food was not impressive - very average. I would not return, but if you are going, I would recommend making a reservation for the top floor. It seemed a bit more under control on the top floor.
I was super excited to visit this place when I discovered of it's existence, but once getting there and having experienced it first hand, it was a bit anticlimactic. The inside did not at all look nor feel like the actual set from the movie. I can see the inspiration, but not exact. Real small internally, that's all I will say. Food was no big whoop neither. I'm in Japan for crying out loud, so I think I would know when my meat isn't prepared all that well, especially when being compared to everything else that I have tried throughout my trip. Seating was pretty small. It's a tough squeeze if not receiving a booth to sit in. Overall it wasn't worth another visit. Sorry but facts.
