We had an amazing meal and experience. Definitely some of the best tempura we had in Japan. And the neighborhood Kagurazaka is super cool to walk around and explore the little alleyways.
This was a meal for all the senses; it was really nice to watch the chef make the batter right before you and listen to the ingredients frying delicately in oil. It’s more than well done but I personally preferred a slightly thicker and less done batter. Overall I do think it’s extremely pricey for the amount and the type of ingredients but it was nonetheless a very good experience. Dessert melon and strawberry at the end 👍 Instructions in English were very clear for the dipping sauces and salts and staff were attentive and friendly.
A small neighborhood place with 2 chefs cooking the freshest food right in front of the guests. We didn’t have a reservation, but lucked out in being seated. It was delicious and one of our best dining experiences!
Great Tempura cooked with a flourish in front of you. Nice sitting at the bar and watching. Helpful staff with sufficient English to guide you through what you are eating and which salts or sauces to use for each thing.
