Ido-ji, meaning 'Well Temple,' is the 14th temple on the Shikoku Pilgrimage and is renowned for its ancient well, which legend says can heal eye diseases. Pilgrims and visitors come to pray at the well and rinse their eyes with its water as an act of faith. The temple grounds also include a main hall, a pagoda, and a peaceful setting that invites quiet reflection.
