Mariko-juku was the twentieth post station along the Tōkaidō, the major road connecting Edo and Kyoto during the Edo period. Today, visitors can step back in time at a faithfully preserved inn and a museum that displays artifacts from the station's heyday. The site offers a glimpse into the lives of travelers and merchants who once rested here, with exhibits on road culture and local history.
