Miyagiken Gokoku Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the souls of soldiers from Miyagi Prefecture who died in wars. The shrine's most prominent feature is a massive concrete torii gate at the entrance, which stands over 10 meters tall. The main hall is built in a traditional style, and the grounds are spacious, often used for community events. The shrine hosts several annual festivals, including the Spring Festival in April and the Autumn Festival in October, featuring mikoshi processions, traditional music, and food stalls. It is a place of remembrance and local cultural activity.
