Solo Pizza Napoletana

I reserved online and was only able to book the course instead of just the table. The course is ¥3500 and it’s a rip off. For two people, it’s ¥7000 plus drink which makes it over ¥8000. And guess what… They served us one margarita which costs like ¥500, one tiny ass bite size pasta, some appetiser which doesn’t even cost ¥1000 all together and the driest chicken ever. The gelato was good but it was patted down which wasn’t that nice. In total, if we were to order the same dishes separately it would’ve cost less than ¥3000 together. It was the most disappointing course menu for such a high price. Never order the course. That being said, the pizza is so good. For ¥500 you can get one of the best pizza in town. Don’t recommend the course and all the things that come with the course except for the pizza.

Food is good and the pizzas are beautifully made and tasty. Not the cheapest but good food. Staff didn't seem to speak much English but we got by. Loved the ambience and decor of the restaurant. Saw lots of people take photos with their food and drinks.

With reservations made with a phone call placed as soon as they opened for dinner on Friday, we enjoyed stopped by on a Friday evening for dinner. Street parking is hit or miss so it is best to drop off everyone at the front door and then have the driver look for a place to park. Reservations recommended as seating is limited and it stays full most of the night. With the wood-fired oven inside the restaurant, temperature gets quite warm inside so on a summer night, it is best to sit near the door. Although there was only one server, she did very well and and our food was delivered promptly and served hot. I ordered the Diavalo pizza with white (crème fraiche) sauce instead of red (tomato) sauce and it was very tasty with spicy Italian sausage with a crispy and very tasty crust; however, the crust in the middle was too soft which is where all the juices pool up creating a soft spot in the crust. They do have spicy olive oil available in little packets on the table which I found to be tasty with just enough kick. My wife's pizza came with half the crust burnt black but rather than wait another 20 mins to cook another pizza, she dove in any way. This is the place to come if you want the closest thing to authentic Pizza from Naples, Italy. Pizza is cooked in a wood fired stove with a delicious and chewy crust. For desert, I enjoyed the most delicious Italian pastry (sfogliatella) you can usually only find in Naples. We'll be back!

Absolutely amazing pizza, the menu choice is large and the service was great too. Our pizza cans in about 10 mins. Pizzas are really big and really amazing.
