Tucked away in a quiet residential area of Kamakura, Sasuke Inari Shrine is a hidden gem known for its striking path of dozens of vermilion torii gates. The shrine honors Inari, the Shinto god of rice and prosperity, with foxes as messengers. Visitors walk through the gate-lined trail, past moss-covered stone lanterns and small fox statues, to reach the main hall. The serene forest setting and the vibrant gates create a photogenic and tranquil experience, especially in the early morning light.

Don't miss
