Enoshima Shrine is a historic Shinto sanctuary spread across three main halls, Hetsunomiya, Nakatsunomiya, and Okutsunomiya, each perched at different elevations on the island. Dedicated to Benzaiten, the goddess of music, wealth, and knowledge, the shrine complex features vermilion-lacquered buildings, stone lanterns, and tranquil gardens. Visitors ascend a series of stone steps and pass through torii gates, enjoying peaceful views of the surrounding sea and foliage. The shrine is a focal point for blessings and local festivals, blending spiritual tradition with scenic beauty.
