A very friendly sushi place that surprise us with some great dishes. Our favourite would be the smoke Spanish mackerel, which was probably one of the best we had lately. Chefs and staffs were super friendly and try to communicate to give us suggestions on Fukuoka. Recommend.
Fantastic COSPA lunch omakase! Master is skilled with a light touch. The shari was not packed tightly but rather the rice clung together just enough so that I could pick it up and put it in my mouth. As the fish and rice combined, I could taste the deliciousness of each. The shari was well seasoned and accentuated the flavors of the fish. Staff was very kind and they did their best to communicate with me in English.
Only 5 seats at the counter. Chef is very young but technique is good. Most of all the price is very reasonable as other similar restaurants in Fukuoka are charging close to twice as much. Nevertheless the chef is not top rate so don't come expecting an amazing dining experience. Come for a good meal in unpretentious setting.
