The Stresa–Alpino–Mottarone Cable Car is a scenic aerial tramway that connects the lakeside town of Stresa to the summit of Monte Mottarone (1,491 m). The journey is divided into two sections: from Stresa to the intermediate station of Alpino, and then to the top. The ride offers breathtaking views of Lake Maggiore, the Borromean Islands, and the surrounding Alps. At the summit, visitors can enjoy hiking trails, a botanical garden (Giardino Alpinia), and a restaurant with panoramic terraces. In winter, the area becomes a small ski resort. The cable car is a popular way to experience the alpine landscape without a strenuous climb.
