Mount Coccovello is a prominent peak in the Lucanian Apennines, rising to 1,505 meters above sea level. Located near Maratea, it is a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers. The mountain is covered in beech forests at higher elevations and offers several trails that lead to the summit, where visitors are rewarded with sweeping views of the Gulf of Policastro, the Pollino massif, and the surrounding valleys.
