Lago di Prà della Stua is a small, tranquil alpine lake nestled within the Lessinia Regional Park, about 20 kilometers from Malcesine. Surrounded by dense forests of beech and spruce, the lake is a haven for wildlife, including deer, foxes, and a variety of bird species. The water is clear and reflective, often mirroring the surrounding peaks. A well-maintained trail circles the lake, taking about 30 minutes to complete, with benches and picnic spots along the way. The area is particularly beautiful in autumn when the foliage turns golden, and in spring when wildflowers bloom. The lake is less crowded than other Garda attractions, offering a peaceful retreat into nature. Visitors can also explore nearby trails that lead to waterfalls and viewpoints within the park.

  • Walk the easy loop trail around the lake, ideal for families and casual hikers
  • Spot wildlife such as deer, foxes, and woodpeckers in the surrounding forest
  • Have a picnic at one of the designated areas with lake views
  • Visit in autumn for spectacular fall colors reflected in the water
  • Combine with a hike to the nearby Cascate di Molina waterfalls
