Bocca di Navene is a high mountain pass (elevation about 1,420 m) that links the northern shore of Lake Garda with the Adige Valley. The road winds up from Malcesine through forests and switchbacks, offering breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding peaks. At the pass, there is a small parking area and a rifugio (mountain hut) where hikers and drivers can rest. The area is a starting point for several trails, including paths to Monte Baldo. In summer, the pass is a favorite for motorcyclists and cyclists seeking a challenging climb. The air is crisp, and the landscape is dotted with wildflowers. From the pass, you can see both the lake and the valley, making it a dramatic transition point.
