The Museo dell'Accademia Etrusca (MAEC) is located in the Palazzo Casali, a former monastery and palace in the heart of Cortona. The museum showcases an impressive collection of Etruscan artifacts, including bronze figurines, pottery, and the famous Etruscan chandelier, as well as Renaissance paintings and decorative arts. The collection was assembled by the Accademia Etrusca, a learned society founded in 1727.
