Gibilmanna is a tranquil hamlet perched in the Madonie Mountains, about 10 km from Cefalù. Its centerpiece is the Santuario di Gibilmanna, a historic sanctuary dedicated to the Madonna, which draws pilgrims and tourists alike. The village offers a peaceful escape from the coastal crowds, with narrow stone streets, traditional houses, and sweeping views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Visitors can explore the sanctuary's church and cloister, then hike the surrounding trails through oak and pine forests. The area is also known for its local produce, including honey and cheese, sold at small shops. Gibilmanna's quiet atmosphere and natural setting make it ideal for a half-day trip from Cefalù.
