Pond Granieri (Lago di Granieri) is a tranquil freshwater pond located a short distance from Anzio's coast. Surrounded by reeds, trees, and wildflowers, it forms a small wetland ecosystem that attracts a variety of bird species, including herons, coots, and migratory waterfowl. A simple walking trail circles the pond, offering opportunities for quiet observation and photography. The area is undeveloped, with no facilities, which preserves its natural charm. Visitors come here to escape the beach crowds and enjoy a serene environment perfect for birdwatching, nature study, or a contemplative stroll. The pond is especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset when the light filters through the vegetation.
