Capo d'Anzio Lighthouse (Faro di Capo d'Anzio) stands on a rocky promontory at the western edge of Anzio's harbor, marking the entrance to the Gulf of Anzio. The lighthouse is a white cylindrical tower with a red lantern, rising about 30 meters above sea level. While the lighthouse itself is not open to the public, the surrounding area offers stunning panoramic views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Anzio coastline, and the distant Pontine Islands on clear days. The site is popular for leisurely walks, photography, and watching boats navigate the harbor. A small park with benches and a paved pathway makes it easy to enjoy the scenery. The lighthouse remains active, with a light visible for up to 16 nautical miles, guiding mariners along this stretch of the Italian coast.
