Chorazin, also called Korazim, is an archaeological site that was a Jewish village during the Roman and Byzantine periods. The ruins include a striking synagogue built of dark basalt stone, featuring a central hall with columns and a mosaic floor. Visitors can see the remains of residential areas, a ritual bath, and agricultural installations like olive presses. The site is noted in the New Testament as one of the cities condemned by Jesus. It offers a peaceful setting to explore ancient Jewish life and early Christian context.
