The Ancient Bath House of Nazareth is a restored Roman-era bath complex dating to the 1st–2nd centuries AD, discovered beneath a 19th-century building. Visitors can walk through the original stone chambers, including the caldarium (hot room), tepidarium (warm room), and frigidarium (cold plunge pool), with intact mosaic floors and clay pipes. The site offers a rare glimpse into Roman hygiene and social life in Galilee. Informational panels and a short video explain the bathing process and the bathhouse's rediscovery during construction work.

Don't miss

  • Admire the original geometric mosaic floors in the tepidarium.
  • See the clay heating pipes (hypocaust) that circulated hot air under the floors.
  • Stand in the frigidarium and imagine the cold plunge experience.
