Knockomagh Wood

Knockomagh Wood is a tranquil forested area located on the hillside above Lough Hyne, a unique saltwater lake near Skibbereen. The wood offers a network of well-maintained walking trails that wind through mixed woodland, including native oak and pine. As you ascend, the trees open to reveal stunning viewpoints overlooking the lough and the rugged coastline beyond. The trail is moderately steep in places but accessible to most walkers.
