Vakil Caravanserai, built in the 17th century during the Safavid era, once sheltered traders along the Silk Road. Today, its arched alcoves house shops selling Persian carpets, copperware, and spices, while the central courtyard hosts a traditional teahouse. Visitors can wander the arcades, admire the brickwork and iwans, and relax with a glass of tea under the shade of old trees. The caravanserai's layout, with rooms around a rectangular yard, offers a glimpse into historic trade routes and hospitality.
