Chandragiri Hill is a sacred Jain site opposite Vindhyagiri Hill, known for its cluster of ancient basadis (Jain temples) and the legendary Bhadrabahu cave. According to tradition, the Jain saint Bhadrabahu and his disciple Chandragupta Maurya meditated here. The hill is less crowded than Vindhyagiri, offering a serene atmosphere for exploration. Visitors can wander among temples dating from the 8th to 12th centuries, featuring intricate carvings and inscriptions. The hill also provides excellent views of the Gommateshwara statue across the valley.
