Very warm place right from arriving there to ordering and whole experience. The restaurant has an old look and has a vintage setting inside. The owner and staff are very warm and had our order served quickly. The food is super awesome, and the potion size is huge. Had a great time, will surely visit again.
We tried the chicken berry pulao as well as the Bombay duck and it was fresh and absolutely delicious! One of the absolute best rice dishes we tried for a long time. The rice with berries and chicken sauce provides a very unique flavor and is a recipe that has apparently not changed over time. Be sure to also try the spicy ginger soda but careful, it may be a bit strong for some. The waiter was right is saying to us that once you come to Britannia when you are in Mumbai, you will always keep coming back. Service is excellent with waiters being very friendly and quick service. The atmosphere is like being frozen back in time with the restaurant deco staying same like in the past, just like its recipe.
VERY POOR HYGIENE . PLASTERS FALLING OFF . IF THEY FEEL ITS LOOKS GOOD THEY ARE MISTAKEN . WHO WANTS PLASTER IN THEIR FOOD . THEY ACCEPT ONLY CASH IN THIS DIGITAL CURRENCY ERA THEY HAVENT MOVED ON FROM THE BRITISH RAJ OVER EXPENSIVE FOR THE QUALITY DELIVERED . PLZ DONT VIST
Amazing food. Excellent berry pulav and amazing raspberry soda and ice cream soda. Must have their dhansak which is caramelised brown rice and lentil dal. Epic custard and puranasinh service. Can't wait to come again with my better half.
