Had an amazing day with family, topped off by a delightful meal at Bhojo Hori Manna. The restaurant beautifully captures the essence of traditional Bengali cuisine with its homely flavors and variety of dishes. From the soulful kosha mangsho to the delicate shorshe ilish, every bite was a taste of nostalgia. Try their Chitol peti and their fish fries too. Perfect for those looking to indulge in authentic, hearty Bengali food. Highly recommend for family gatherings or just a cozy meal!
Varieties of Bengali authentic delicious foods with being wild about the taste, overall a good experience🥰. But a little bit disappointed because their special BHOJOHORIR TALA was not available at my time😒(Note: Kindly contact prior with the outlet about the availability of special THALI). If this one point kept into a side then the rest was satisfying. All the ordered items were top-notch. I feel quantity should be more according to the price but the taste and quality are truly appreciable.👍
It is a very good Bengali restaurant. Food is fresh. If one opts to taste traditional Bengali dishes, this restaurant is the first choice. You will get the original taste of traditional Bengali dishes. One can have less oily Bengali cuisines also in this restaurant. The staffs are very cordial and well-behaved.
Bhojohorir Veg Thala at Bhojohori Manna This elaborate Bengali vegetarian thali has Luchi, chholar dal, rice, shukto, kolmi shaak , postor borar jhal, alu jhurjhuri ,Tomato-khejur chutney, Rosogolla and Mishti doi. The story of Bhojohori Manna began out of a garage space at Ekdalia, Kolkata in March 2003. Five friends from diverse backgrounds with no formal F & B training but having a passion for food and people, reckoned from their own personal experiences that there was a vacuum in Kolkata for simple 'home style' Bengali food. The name Bhojohori Manna was chosen from a popular Bengali film song rendered by the legendary singer Manna Dey. The humorous track "Ami Sri Sri Bhojohori Manna..." revolves around a widely travelled cook who returns to his native land with a signature culinary style. The business model was inspired by the charming old-world concept of 'pice hotels' and moulded to the requirements of the day.
