It is a heritage Bengali restaurant (pice hotels)in the city of joy. Freedom fighters like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose used to come here for lunch, and famous writer Sarabindu Banerjee was a daily customer here in his student life. Tinny shot eating place with a feeling of nostalgia. We have to wait to get our seats at lunch time, a huge rush during lunch time. Service was very fast. Come to the food, we ordered a veg thali , a baul fish, a katla fish thali. Taste was like home cooked food, not so spicy and over powered. The food was served on banana leaf and was was served in clay cup. Quality of the food was good, fishes were fresh and large in size.
