✨ HighlightWorst experience ever. The behaviour of the stuffs are really rude. They behaved like they are just tolerating the guests somehow. They really lack politeness. Now come to food, it was just average. We took the "famous" chelo kebab, it was just stale with loads of butter on it. Kebabs are not tasty. Other items were average too. Atmosphere is congested and really dark. We didn't like it at all. There are far better restaurants in Park street than this one. Never going back again.→

✨ HighlightOverrated. The quality of food is not good. We have tried the seasonal dish Sarso da saag and Makai ka roti, both are less salted. Sarso da saag was good in taste but price is 300/- where you cannot get any AC or ambience or cleanliness. You have to mention the chai type like small, medium or large and plain tea or masala tea, otherwise they will provide masala large tea. ( if you ask only for tea). I have tried every type of tea but not actually dhaba style, its sugary and less milky. Lassi is good. In their Gajar ka halwa only gajar and sugar, no sign of milk. Another time we tried their Gobi ka paratha which was too good but you have to try it in winter and evening time. Aloo ka paratha was average. Paneer is also an average type. You cannot get different types of paratha in the morning, those are cooked in the evening. Dal makhni is the average type. Most of the items are too oily. My friend feels nausea after eating their foods so those who love oily and buttery items- this restaurant is for them. There is no such ambience in both non-AC and AC sections. The most pathetic condition in the case of the washroom. The only one washroom is there and it's unclean. Service is good, the waiters are polite, good in behavior and helpful.→

✨ HighlightThakali refers to the cuisine of an ethnic group from Nepal. However, in Bengal, the term "Thakali" is often associated with the act of fooling or cheating people, which is exactly what I felt happened here. Like many so-called "authentic" places, this one is also run by Biharis, so don’t expect Tibetan people, food, or service. Green Apple Boma Can @ Rs.189 (1/5) Passion Fruit Boma Can @ Rs.189 (1/5) ---------------------------------------------- I tried the BOMA drinks, and they sell these canned drinks for Rs. 189+ GST. It feels like daylight robbery for a can of colored water packed with excessive sugar and little flavor. Not only does it taste bad, but it’s also extremely unhealthy. Chilli Pork Dry @ Rs.360 (2/5) Chilli Butter Wings @ Rs.370 (4/5) Pork Steamed Momo @ Rs.190 (2/5) Mutton Steamed Momo @ Rs.440 (5/5) ------------------------------------------------ Chilli Pork dry was below average but Butter Wings were impressive. The Mutton Momo was surprisingly good, even better than their Pork Momos. However, charging Rs. 470 + service charge for a plate of 10 momos is excessive. Each momo had less than 5g of meat, and the price doesn’t justify the portion size or quality. Chicken Fried Rice @ Rs.330 (2/5) Hot Garlic Chicken @ Rs.280 (1/5) ------------------------------------------------ The Chicken Fried Rice was basic, with a very small portion for the price. The Hot Garlic Chicken tasted like Sweet and Sour Chicken and was the worst I’ve had at any restaurant. It was essentially chicken pakoras tossed in ketchup, and it was hilariously bad. Honestly, even a street food vendor could make this dish 1000 times better. If you're planning a gathering here, I’d recommend spending a few thousand more and booking a trip to Darjeeling or Gangtok. You’ll get much better food directly from authentic sources. I had visited this place a while ago, and it was great value for money, which is why I decided to return. However, recently, prices have shot up by 5-6 times. They completely ruined our Puja lunch, and no one was happy with the food or the prices. We could have easily opted for a much better buffet at this price. I now regret suggesting this place on a Puja day.→

✨ HighlightWent to katsuri to taste Bengali cuisine and it was very tasty. We had the jumbo prawn malaicurry and the shrimp in taro leaves, both were delicious but the shrimp was slightly on the small side for a jumbo. Unfortunately they didn't have the shrimp cutlets that we were really looking forward to tasting, as well as the medium shrimp curry. Also, we asked which cold drinks they had and they offered an option that we accepted (lime soda) and they ended up charging us the price of a fresh juice and not the price on the menu for the "cold drinks" when we asked what they had. They should've said they didn't have any cold drinks and that they had x, y & z fresh juice and that they're more expensive.→

✨ HighlightI recently visited this restaurant and, overall, the food was quite good. The flavors were enjoyable, and most of the dishes tasted fresh and well-prepared. However, I was disappointed by a few things. The cleanliness of the restaurant was not up to standard, and the staff’s behavior was less than welcoming. Additionally, one of the kebabs we ordered seemed to be old and had a noticeable smell→

✨ HighlightThis restaurant is nostalgic. Whenever I and my parents went to Esplanade, we had food here. A nice aroma welcomes you when you enter. However, this time, after so many years I found it a bit underwhelming. Biryani was good, but kebabs were too dry. We also ordered chicken rezala which was too watery and tasteless. When we told this to the server he gave the following excuse: "the cook recently changed and thats why the taste is different". Certainly NOT the answer we were looking for. In any good place they would have offered a replacement, or at least an apology. The phirni was tasty. My recommendation will be only the biryani.→

✨ HighlightWent for lunch at Quest Mall food is beyond excellent. Bar Menu is good too.But the big issues are maintenance. Once stepped in one gets transported to the bygone ages of India with food carrier kattles etc. Cockroaches on table is a big set back. I believe if bugs are on table God knows whats going on in the kitchen not to mention the serious health Hazzard it poses. I'm sure pest control can be done !! AC vents are almost falling off. This place is screaming for maintenance....Seating arrangements and atmosphere is awesome. Good place to hang out with family friends or couples Another put off is the "optional" 10% service charge which is imposed although one is paying GST. Anyone reading this review please go through the itemized bill for any such "optional" charges even after paying GST for any eateries.→

✨ HighlightA good vegetarian restaurant who serve North Indian foods in a Rajasthani ambiance & decor with good service. I have enjoyed its Paneer tikka and Alu Rajasthani with Daal Haveli wali & tandoori rotis. A well decorated place for North Indian veg food but it need to improve its food taste and aromas. Staff is courteous.→
