Food is delicious! Service is impeccable! Ambiance is unique and enjoyable. Definitely dine in here. The only weird thing they sort of coax you into leaving a review :) which sort of explains why this restaurant has disproportionately large number of reviews compared to similar restaurants in the neighborhood!
"Authentic Andhra cuisine that's excellent and crafted to perfection. Brilliant starters and desserts. Spicy, flavorful, aromatic, and soul-satisfying! Average ambience/atmosphere but good service." Food: We ordered Kamjupitta Vepudu, Krishnapatnam Mix Pulao, Ulava Charu Kodi Pulao, Grilled Tiger Prawns, Krishnapatnam Delight (otherwise known as Sitaphal Delight), and Krishnapatnam Malai. Kamju Pitta Vepudu: The quail itself was tender, juicy (not dry at all), and well-cooked. Although it had less meat, the marination and spices were on point and went along well with the Japanese quail. Grilled Tiger Prawns: Excellent flavours, juicy and mouth-watering, had such a fine balance of sweetness, a bit of heat, and a bit of tanginess. Ulavacharu (horse gram) Kodi Pulao and the Krishnapatnam Mix Pulao: The Ulavacharu flavour (tangy, sour, and umami notes) made the Ulavacharu Kodi Pulao quite unique and interesting. These rice dishes have huge quantities of rice and one pulao could be shared between two people quite comfortably. One should not order 2 pulaos or biryanis for 2 people, it's too much, 1 pulao/biryani should be sufficient for 2 people. Instead, one could go for their starters and desserts. Krishnapatnam Delight: Also known as Sitaphal Delight, it's a bit like malai and custard infused with Sitaphal flavours. Delicious, must try! KP Malai: Another similar but equally delectable dessert with malai and mulberries. Must try! Service is great. However, the place can feel very crowded. The tables for 2 are quite congested. Everything feels quite rushed due to the heavy footfalls. We feel less welcomed when we see the bill handed over to us along with the dessert! Even weekdays can be totally filled. Table reservations are highly recommended and a must! Pricing: With the Swiggy GIRF's offer of flat 50% off, it is definitely value for money! Without it, it can be considered slightly expensive/overpriced. With that being said, I would like to go back for sure and try their Ankapuri Natu Kodi Koora, Guntur Chilli Fish, and other delicacies! In conclusion, go ahead and try the authentic, punchy, and vibrant flavours of Andhra delicacies at the equally vibrant Krishnapatnam!
