Ghalib's is a very popular spot in Delhi for kebabs. If you happen to make a trip to Hazrat Nizamuddin, then making a stop here is a must. They have both indoor and outdoor seating but the tables are limited. We had to wait for 15 mins to get a table but it was worth it. We had the mutton seekh kebab and roomali roti which was a divine combo. The kebab was so succulent and juicy and roti was so fine! We also had the chicken tikka which was equally tasty. For mains we had the mutton qorma which was quite thick and the chicken biryani. The biryani was average and can be skipped. Overall the food was delicious and worth the price.
I never eat such a tasty food like before. Especially Shami Kabab, Mutton Gravy and Geer.... Sooo Yummy man..
We heard about several Kabab places to visit before our trip to New Delhi , but one place which was recommended by many was Ghalib Kabab Corner . Located in a alleyway with other Kabab places , it’s very difficult to pick a place to eat . It’s quite crowded . All the food is prepared right in front of you . If you’re a Nihari ( meat and shin bone cooked in a gravy ) lover , this is the place to be . Never did I have food this much tasty . The chicken Boti Kabab is delicious as well . Food is really cheap , for 5 adults , we spent roughly 1400 rupees , which is approx 18 USD . Please do order the rumali roti , it’s made right in front of your eyes and smells amazing . We went on a chilly night and they even brought a small coal pit to our table to keep us warm . Now that’s a service I could die for .
Food is average. Had better. We ate here on December 14th, 2021 and when we wanted to pay the bill (520 rupees), the guys refused to take our money and stated we were guests and did not want us to pay. We insisted over and over again to pay and they refused. I assumed they wanted us to write a good review and/or post a video about them. Two months later, we are still travelling and haven't been able to write them a review. I randomly get a call from the bnb we stayed in (nearby Ghalib's corner) asking for money... Turns out Ghalib's corner harrased their kid for the 520 rupees. This is not cool and very bad on them. I immediately transferred the money to the hotel to pay Ghalib's kebab corner. What a waste of time and energy! Why pretend to be something when you are not? Not very genuine. I expect to pay the bill for what we ate. It's that simple. I hope this review helps someone else.
