Yes the food is overpriced but it wasn't surprising for me, given its location and clientele. The ambience was too cool and unique for me. The menu consists of modern takes on classic traditional Indian food. I really liked the White Butter Chicken and Chur Chur Naan combo. The Kesari Lassi enhanced the dining experience. Located inside the National Crafts Museum, you can explore the property, before or after your food.
I had one of my best dinner at here. Food was just brilliant. From all over the India menu is designed, but it was so authentic. Price is fine, taste was too good. We ordered plack chat, goanise fish curry, mutton dhansak, and apple rabri with coconut rabri. Ambience is also very calm and soothing. Highly recommend of you are in Delhi and looking for some good tasty food other than Butter chicken.
Set up in the museum complex the restaurant is very soothing and relaxing. The visit was for breakfast and menu had good options from different states. The Bombay Omlet and pav along with Kolkata poori was amazing. Taste was great along with presentation. The server insisted to order 2 dishes for a couple only as the portion sizes were bigger and it was a great suggestion. Definitely going to go back for lunch or dinner.
It has been on our to do list for a very long time and finally with our friends birthday we chose that to be the perfect d-day to visit the place. We were their for brunch and reached almost by noon. Managed to find place easily but within an hour the place was full and people were waiting. Have heard that the waiting time is quite long. The Bengali food festival was ongoing. Being vegetarians we tried the following. For drinks - masala chaas, kokum, Himalaya apple kochumba. The quantity of food seems less but beleive it don't order next until you really think you are hungry. It's a farce. Palak pata chaat and do matar chaat were awesome. For the main course we had the appam and stew, Sindhi kadi, aloo tuk and Himalayan red rice. Chef is amazing and so is the staff. Very friendly and helpful, on their toes. We also had the kumaoni thali was so authentic. Great experience and a very nice and quaint place. Crowd was elite. Reasonably priced as well. Definitely coming back soon.keep up the great work team.
