✨ HighlightFriends and family get together on a Sunday evening. This is a perfect place for a food outing. Food is delicious and a great treat for non veg lovers. Grill chicken and honey prawns are awesome. The service part is poor, we have to wait for a long time to place an order. Waiting for waiter makes us the real waiter. It is hard to find the waiter once we place an order. If we want to add something to the order we have to wait for long time. It will be great, If they could add few more persons to take order. We were 15 in number and we got a discount.→

✨ HighlightSeashell Restaurant offers a promising seafood experience with a variety of cuisine options, though our overall experience was mixed. The **ambience** is great—well-lit, spacious, and welcoming, though often crowded. Located conveniently in the center, the added juice bar at the entrance is a nice touch. The **hospitality** was commendable, and the staff were attentive. We explored a range of dishes: - **Soups**: The Spicy Chicken Soup was flavorful, and the Chicken Herb Soup felt unique and refreshing. - **Starters**: Dragon Potato was tasty, while Veg Sheekh Kebab and Achari Paneer Tikka were average. The Lahm Meshwi was good, but the Squid Tawa Fry was just okay. - **Seafood**: BBQ Lobster had an excellent presentation but was pricey with a low portion size. Fish Finger and Namak Fry were delicious, Tandoori Prawn was okay, and Crab Lollipop stood out. - **Main Courses**: Shanghai Crispy Chicken, Black Pepper Chicken, and Chicken Bolognese were all great! Peri Peri BBQ Chicken was good, and Paneer Butter Masala paired well with parathas. Mutton Rogan Josh was satisfying, though Mushroom Tikka and Aloo Mutter Masala were just average. - **Pasta & Fusion**: Penne Rosa and American Chopsy were delightful highlights. While the presentation and service were impressive, a few dishes had issues and had to be replaced. That said, the restaurant is well-maintained, and despite some inconsistencies, it was a good dining experience. TIP: Best to visit during non-peak hours for a better experience.→

✨ HighlightOne of the best Thai restaurants that i have tried so far in chennai. Food was so great. Service was average as the staff seemed like they had a lot to handle. Great place for dining with family and friends. It's a bit on the pricier side but the experience is totally worth the cost. Everything had coconut milk or ground coconuts in it, it's too much coconut in one meal, even for South Indians 🤣 Parking is not that ample, you may have to find a street parking space in that busy road. I tried their Red curry with fish, the fish just melted in my mouth. Sticky rice with coconut pudding was out of this world. Must try this place.→

✨ HighlightI recently visited BBQ Nation in T Nagar with my team for lunch and we had an average experience. We booked for the 12-2.00 PM slot. Only a few tables were occupied at that time, still they delayed the starters. The potato fry wasn't crispy and the honey chicken arrived late and wasn't juicy enough. Main course was okay but the Russian salad tasted good. Service at the live counters was slow and limited. The dessert section - Gulab Jamun, fruit custard were good. For ice cream, toppings were limited. The ambiance was lively and suitable for team outings, but the overall experience was let down by the food.→

The food was quite good, especially the green curry, bisibelebath (custom order not on menu) and the options on the kids’ menu. However, the service could use some improvement - on attentiveness. ✨ HighlightDescent haunted theme restaurant, like the atmosphere inside as it has that spooky feeling. Starters are very nice, freshly prepared, served hot and spread is good. Service however is bad, we booked a 12 afternoon slot via Swiggy. Restaurant Only opened door at 12.15. And buffet was ready at 12.55 so really late. Even after that it was more than reasonable wait for next starter to come after first few were served. Main course has limited options, but it's ok considering after starters you don't need a huge spread. Desserts again are limited, we didn't have all the items mentioned in the menu so felt it was really short of options. Overall worth an experience for the theme and taste of food, the price is reasonable too but service needs to get better and again they need to respect the time they mention online on Swiggy/zomato.→

✨ HighlightChina XO intends well. But at this price point at a 5-star hotel, you have to do better. Let's get over with the good stuff - great atmosphere, great service, and fantastic ambience. The food however is where we start to see the cracks. We ordered the prix fixe menu, as there are so many choices to make in the menu and we couldn't make decisions. It started off well, a fantastic wanton soup and some good dim sums. At this point, everything is heading well towards a fabulous night. Then comes the fish and chicken and lamb, all deep fried with batter and coated with various sauces and spices, but quite underwhelming. The lamb was so thin that it felt like chewing cardboard strips. The fish was just completely soaked in sweet & sour sauce where it lost its texture and identity. And the chicken was heavily dusted with some unique spices unknown of origin. I wasn't sure whether this was a sauce competition with some protein or whether the sauce complemented the meat. The fried rice made with basmati rice is a quintessential Indo-Chinese entry but completely bland and without character. The flat noodles were decent though. Finally the biggest disappointment was a random mango pudding, so dry that it was dusty. And whatever fruit or artifact they put in the middle was better passed as a piece of rubber. I cannot recommend China XO for locals nor foreigners visiting. Perhaps if you need the atmosphere during a date night, it might be okay. Other than that, it's largely overpriced and delivers sub-par food.→
