Exomvourgo is a striking granite hill that rises steeply near the village of Xinara. During the Venetian era (13th–18th centuries), it served as the island's fortress and capital. Today, visitors can hike up to the ruins of the castle, which include remnants of walls, cisterns, and a church. The summit provides breathtaking 360-degree views of Tinos, the Cyclades, and the Aegean Sea. The hike is moderately challenging but rewarding, passing through terraced fields and rocky terrain.
