The Temple of Sangri, also known as the Temple of Demeter, is a late 6th-century BC Ionic-style sanctuary located near the village of Sangri in central Naxos. Built entirely of local marble, it was dedicated to the goddess of agriculture and fertility. The temple was partially reconstructed in the 20th century using original stones, allowing visitors to appreciate its elegant proportions. Set among olive trees and rolling hills, the site offers a peaceful atmosphere and a small museum displaying artifacts found during excavations.
